Bruce Thompson is currently a thermotherapy consultant at ATUNE Health Centre in Cardiff, NSW, Australia.
Bruce is an AHPRA-registered physiotherapist, graduating from Sydney University in 1978. Most recently he has been working in aged care for 25 years.
His interest in traditional hydrotherapy began at Warburton Health Centre, Vic. Australia in the early 1980s and he learned more by visiting institutions that practiced hydrotherapy in the US including Loma Linda, Banning, Weimar, Uchee Pines and Wildwood.
He supervised the building of hydrotherapy treatment rooms in Bangkok and Phuket Adventist Hospitals and at the Muak Lek Health Center in Thailand. He trained the staff and worked in Bangkok and Muak Lek center. More recently he has created the Traditional Hydrotherapy website., an encyclopaedia of hydrotherapy summarised from medical textbooks from 1900 until the 1980s.
Bruce and his wife (an RN) have conducted classes in home hydrotherapy in 3 states of Australia, most recently in north NSW in November 2020.
